Life can be hectic and sometimes that inhibits our ability to take good care of ourselves. A portion of my practice is dedicated to working with clients throughout California via a secure online platform, so that travel and scheduling conflicts can take a backseat.

How Does Online Therapy Work?

I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform for all my video sessions. Prior to each session, you’ll receive a unique link to join a video chat. Just click and make sure you have a private, quiet place to talk for 50 minutes with good internet connection. From there, we’ll proceed just as we would in person. Newcomers welcome!

I’ve never talked to a therapist. How does it work?

I look at our time together as a collaborative effort – a conversation in which we explore how you navigate your word. Therapy is a confidential space, so I hope that you will speak freely about your concerns and I will likely jump in with questions or prompts to help deepen our exploration. The goal is to help you understand events and patterns so that you can approach your situation in a new way or with a new sense of ease.

I’m considering therapy, but unsure if it’s really what I need right now.

In my experience, just about anyone can benefit from therapy at any point in life. While we explore your initial concern and develop tools for managing that situation we will also be developing insight about you, your life, and your relationships that can be applicable no matter what comes your way. How is therapy any better than talking with friends or reading books?

There is so much power in the relationships and resources already in your life, I certainly don’t want to downplay that. However, sometimes we need an unbiased third party to help us sort through our experiences. I have dedicated years of training and practice to help you learn new skills and navigate difficult areas in your life, your relationships, and within yourself. Our relationship will be real and unique… one that is based in care and respect, while also being professional and confidential.

I love that! Your active participation and dedication will be crucial to your success. I encourage you to be vulnerable and take risks in session and to fully engage in the work in between sessions – take note when something feels significant or difficult, seek out resources to reinforce our conversations, and challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone.

Rates and Insurance


My fee is $165 per session for individuals and $185 per session for couples.

Because I believe that therapy should be accessible to everyone, I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients with financial need. Please contact me for details.

Duration and Scheduling

As we embark on our work together we establish a recurring time on the calendar and we will meet at this time for 50 minutes once a week. Because I know that the occasion conflict does come up, I am always happy to explore one-off reschedules. Therapy is a commitment you make to yourself, so consistency and frequency are important for building a strong foundation.

Cancellation Policy

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know more than 48 hours before our appointment to avoid being charged for the missed session.


I accept all major credit cards including HSA and FSA benefit cards.


While I do not bill insurance directly, I encourage you to see if your plan offers any reimbursement for mental-health services. I will gladly provide you with a statement of services for this purpose.
